About us
London Painters’ Collective is formed of the simple idea that artists could come together to support one another and make a living through their skills. Formed by working artists who shared a background in the arts and a desire to work differently, to stay close to their craft while taking control of how they work.
The collective brings together professional decorators whose experience spans fine art, making, and architecture. That background shows in the attention to detail, the sensitivity to colour and texture, and the thoughtful approach to each job. Some projects are straightforward interiors, others involve restoration or murals, but all are treated with care and precision.
There’s no central authority profiting off others’ labour. Jobs are led and managed by the people doing them, with a shared name offering the capacity to take on larger work, collaborate, and share resources. Members contribute a portion of each job back into the collective—for visibility, future work, and the long-term benefit of everyone involved.
It’s a simple structure of mutual support, fair pay, and the freedom to do good work while keeping a creative practice alive.
